Soul Village 2015 – LLoret De Mar
Soul Village is a week long annual music event that takes place in Lloret de Mar, a coastal town in Catalonia, Spain. Its within easy reach from Barcelona and Girona airports.
Its been going for years in the UK, but moved to hosting it in hotter climates 4 years ago. Around 500 people (mostly from London, UK) embark on this small coastal town for fun, sun, and relaxation, which a host of UK DJs keeping the party vibe going.

We booked our flights with EasyJet after leaving it pretty late to organize our holiday. EasyJet seemed to be the cheapest at around £215 return person from Gatwick to Barcelona, with an 11am ish flight time which means we didn’t have to wake up with the cocks crowing early hours, and use good old public transport to get to the airport.
The flight was around 2 hours, which is great for someone who likes travelling to exotic countries, but hates flying! I said a few ‘Our Fathers’ in the air to get me through lol.
A piece of advice before travelling with EasyJet… Make sure you weigh your suitcase properly before you leave the house… And make sure you have something to eat before you get on the plane… oh and don’t decide to go to a restaurant to eat breakfast/lunch 45 minutes before you a due to board the plane, because (1) the restaurant will take forever to make your food (2) you will get relaxed and loose track off time (3) you will have to ask for a doggy bag and run like Linford Christie to get to the gate before closing.
